Slideshow Projector Screen Recording

Hi
I have a slideshow problem. I create a slide show in LR6.6 and it works perfect on my Mac Book. But when I connect to a projector (Epson usually) via HDMI cable, it projects fine on the screen, the slides advance properly (in manual mode) BUT the mirrored images on the Macbook screen DON'T advance. The notebook screen 'freezes' on the first image or whatever image I start with (you can see the next thumbnails its trying to bring up to the screen inside the image that is showing. Problem occurred with at least two Epson different projectors a high end one and a simple one. Mac OS is 10.10.5, video card for notebook is Intel HD graphics 4000. Display is set to mirroring when connected to the projector. Anyone else experience this.
